Direction Home of Eastern Ohio receives Title III funds for people aged 60 and older through the Older Americans Act.
The OAA is designed to give communities control over policy and program decisions and to support the best mix of services at the local level. Because of this, services vary by county but may include home-delivered meals, transportation, and wellness classes. See our brochures or call us for more information.

Get Out and Dine
Made Possible Through Title III Funding
The Get Out and Dine program gives Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana county residents aged 60 and older the opportunity to enjoy nutritious meals at local participating restaurants while socializing with community members.
How to Check Your Current Balance
Here’s How It Works:
1.
Contact Direction Home of Eastern Ohio to apply for the program.
2.
Once enrolled, you will receive five vouchers loaded on a card each month to redeem for approved meals at participating restaurants in Mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana counties.
3.
You’ll choose from a set menu and must eat the meal in the restaurant. Takeout orders are not eligible with vouchers.
4.
Tips for service are not included in the voucher; we strongly encourage you to bring money with you to leave a tip.

Direction Home of Eastern Ohio is seeking area restaurants to help us create a new congregate dining experience in Trumbull County. Restaurants are asked to work with Direction Home of Eastern Ohio to establish a menu that meets program guidelines for older adults.
