FY 2027 FUNDING FOR SENIOR SERVICES
The Board of Trustees of Direction Home of Eastern Ohio is requesting applications from community organizations to provide Nutrition and Social Services for individual who are 60 years of age or older, and in need of assistance to remain independent. Funding for services is available for Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.
The service contracts will be a multi-year contract beginning January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027. These contracts may be extended for 4 years depending on service performance and availability of funds.
Organizations interested in applying for funding may receive information at the “Bidders Conference” on September 11, 2026 at 1:00pm, which will be held at the Direction Home of Eastern Ohio offices, located at 1030 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, Ohio 44509. Or interested parties may contact Sarah Ridel for an application at planning@dheo.org beginning on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Applications for Funding must be submitted no later than noon Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

An alternative to nursing home care that helps financially eligible individuals aged 59 and younger, including children, who have significant healthcare needs due to a disabling condition.
Mahoning County Senior Levy
Care management and supportive services for individuals over 60 in Mahoning County who wish to remain at home.
