FY 2023 FUNDING FOR SENIOR SERVICES
The Board of Trustees of Direction Home of Eastern Ohio is requesting applications from community organizations to provide Nutrition and Social Services for individual who are 60 years of age or older, and in need of assistance to remain independent. Funding for services is available for Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.
The service contracts will be for a 12-month period from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. These contracts may be extended depending on service performance and availability of funds.
Organizations interested in applying for funding may receive information at the “Bidders Conference” on September 14, 2022 at 10:00am, which will be held at the Direction Home of Eastern Ohio offices, located at 1030 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, Ohio 44509. Or interested parties may contact Sarah Ridel for an application at firstname.lastname@example.org beginning on Monday, September 12, 2022.
Applications for Funding must be submitted no later than 2:30pm Friday, October 14, 2022.
Electronic Visit Verifications (EVV)
Beginning Sept. 14, 2022, the EVV validation failed code messages on provider claims are changing to more descriptive language for each EVV exception. The provider’s remittance advice will display the messages contained in the EVV Error Resolution Guide. ODA has created a new EVV Error Resolution Guide to help providers, individuals, and case managers. The EVV Resolution Guide lists each exception, has an exception description, and provides action steps to resolve the exception. Below, is the current exception message in the system printed on an affected provider’s remittance advice and then a list of the updated versions.
