Aging Onward 2025 Conference

Join us for our second annual conference, where we will explore the critical legal, environmental, and situational challenges facing older adults. This year, our focus includes reframing aging and issues such as, homelessness, domestic violence, consumer scams, legal concerns, & opioid use. Our expert speakers will share valuable insights, offering strategies to help older adults become more informed, aware, and empowered to address these challenges effectively. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and resources to support the well-being and rights of older adults in today’s complex world.

Costs, times, CEU eligibility, and location vary with each program, and all of our courses require advance registration.

*Nurses may attend programs approved through the Counseling, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapy (CSWMFT) board and receive CEUs.  Please refer to section 4723-14-05(7) of the Nursing Continuing Education for Renewal Ohio Revised Code for details.

Refunds

Refunds will be made ONLY for cancellations received three business days prior to the event. If received less than three days prior to the event, a credit can be issued for use at another program within the next 6 months. If notice of cancellation is not received before the date of the program, no refund will be issued.  PLEASE NOTE: No shows will be charged the full registration fee.

Registration and Cancellations

Class sizes are limited, so register early. Classes with low registrations may be canceled. If the class is canceled or moved, participants will be contacted via email at least 24 hours in advance.

Class Times

Classes start and end on time. To ensure a quality experience for all, please log in at least 15 minutes prior to the class to resolve any technical issues.  CEU credits will be adjusted 0.25 credit hours for every 15 minutes not in attendance; adjusted certificates will be emailed to participants within 3 business days after the training. Hard copies of certificates will be mailed upon request.

What to Expect

The CEU event will take place on Zoom or in person during the designated times. The link to join the webinar session will be sent in your registration confirmation email as well as registration reminder emails. Please note: Certificates will be provided at the completion of in person events or sent electronically for virtual events so long as the attendance has been verified and evaluation returned. A reminder that, in keeping with licensure board requirements, certificates will be adjusted 0.25 hours for every 15 minutes not in attendance, and attendance will be monitored.

Webinar participants will need computer and a strong internet connection and speakers during the entire CEU session. Video/webcam components are not required, but strongly encouraged for speaker/audience interaction, Q&A, and breakout sessions. There is a chat option for those without a microphone on their device.
